Ratos de Porão é uma banda brasileira de hardcore punk e crossover thrash formada em 1981 em São Paulo, sendo um dos grupos mais influentes do punk e metal no Brasil.
A banda começou no movimento punk paulista, lançando seu álbum de estreia Crucificados pelo Sistema em 1984, que se tornou um clássico do hardcore nacional.
Com letras politizadas e críticas sociais afiadas, eles evoluíram sonoramente incorporando elementos do thrash metal e mantendo forte presença underground.
Integrantes como João Gordo (vocal) e Jão (guitarra) são figuras centrais na carreira longa e ativa da banda, que já percorreu vários continentes em turnês.
Ratos de Porão continua em atividade até hoje, influenciando gerações de bandas punk e metal e mantendo relevância no cenário pesado mundial.
